In 2023, sales revenue of China's carbon industry will decrease by 11.14% year-on-year
On March 19, the official website of the China Carbon Industry Association released the "Completion of Economic Indicators of China Carbon Industry Member Companies in 2023". According to statistics on the completion of economic indicators, the total industrial output value in 2023 will reach 38.890 billion yuan, a decrease of 12.41% compared with the same period last year.
In terms of output, the total output of carbon products was 7.427 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.91%. Among them, the output of graphite electrodes was 726,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%; the output of ordinary power graphite electrodes was 118,300 tons, an increase of 18.31% year-on-year; the output of ultra-high-power graphite electrodes was 379,900 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.13%; the output of prebaked anodes The output of carbon electrodes was 5.3843 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.88%; the output of carbon electrodes was 172,300 tons, a year-on-year increase of 24.45%; the output of carbon paste was 614,700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.26%.
In terms of sales revenue, the sales revenue of the carbon industry reached 38.964 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 11.14%; the total profit and tax realized was 2.613 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 46.33%; the total profit was 1.722 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 54.06%.
In terms of export data, the total export volume of carbon products in 2023 will be 666,200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 20.95%, and export earnings will be US$927 million, a year-on-year decrease of 33.39%. Among them, graphite electrode exports were 129,600 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.15%, and prebaked anode exports were 498,900 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 24.69%.
