Manufacturer Graphite Powder for Steel and Casting Recarburizer
Metallurgy grade silicon carbide is used as an abrasive, and more recently as a semiconductor and diamond simulant of gem quality. The simplest manufacturing process is to combine silica sand and carbon in an Acheson graphite electric resistance furnace at a high temperature, between 1,600 °C (2,910 °F) and 2,500 °C (4,530 °F). Fine SiO2 particles in plant material (e.g. rice husks) can be converted to SiC by heating in the excess carbon from the organic material. The silica fume, which is a byproduct of producing silicon metal and ferrosilicon alloys, also can be converted to SiC by heating with graphite at 1,500 °C (2,730 °F).

Low Sulphur Iron Casting Recarburizer GPC Graphitized Petroleum Coke Manufacturer
Calcined petroleum coke (CPC) is the product from calcining petroleum coke. This coke is the product of the coker unit in a crude oil refinery. The calcined petroleum coke is used to make anodes for the aluminium, steel and titanium smelting industry. The green coke must have sufficiently low metal content to be used as anode material. Green coke with this low metal content is called anode-grade coke. When green coke has excessive metal content, it is not calcined and is used as fuel-grade coke in furnaces.

supply 60-98.8% silicon carbide for Minerals Metallurgy Refractory
Due to its stable chemical properties, high thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion coefficient, and good wear resistance, silicon carbide is used to make advanced refractory materials that are thermal shock resistant, small in size, light in weight, high in strength, and have good energy-saving effects. Black silicon carbide is used in high-grade refractory materials and can be used as metallurgical deoxidizer and high-temperature resistant materials to make high-temperature furnace components and supports.

Calcined Petroleum 5-25mm Coke For metallurgical Industry
Black silicon carbide (SIC) is made from quartz sand and carbon (anthracite coal tar or petroleum coke) in electric esistance furnace at high temperature. It has the characteristic of high hardness, excellent electrical and heat conductivity, low thermal expansion, and high abrasion resistance. Thus, SIC is the most suitable material of abrasives, refractories, deoxidizer of metallurgical, special ceramics, electric heating elements and so on.

Artificial Graphite Petroleum Coke for Steel Mill Carbon Additive
Black silicon carbide (SiC) is a semi-friable abrasive often used for general abrasive applications in bonded abrasive tools, lapping, polishing, tock tumbling, glass etching and frosting. It is extremely resistant to wear, chemicals, and corrosion, making it excellent for sandblasting nozzles, furnace components, engine components, high tech ceramics, etc. It is also an excellent choice for recycling as it is a sharp, blocky abrasive that breaks down into sharp splinters.
