Artificial graphite is a material made by processing natural graphite or other carbon sources, and its production involves multiple steps.
First, high-purity carbon sources, such as natural graphite, petroleum coke, etc., are selected, ground and mixed to form a mixture with precise proportions.
Secondly, the mixture is sent to a high-temperature furnace for graphitization. In a high-temperature environment, the raw materials undergo a carbonization reaction to form preliminary carbonization products.
Subsequently, the preliminary carbonized product is subjected to high-temperature heat treatment to further increase its crystallinity and graphitization degree. This process is usually carried out under vacuum or an inert atmosphere to prevent oxidation reactions from occurring.
After heat treatment, the product is finely processed, including grinding, polishing and other steps to obtain the required shape and surface quality.
Finally, through quality inspection, the physical properties and chemical composition of artificial graphite are tested to ensure that it meets specific technical requirements and application standards.
